When from 12 to 15 March 2020, the streets, squares, skyscrapers, churches, museums and art galleries of Frankfurt and Offenbach appear in a new light, fascinating citizens and visitors alike with impressive and often interactive lighting installations, Luminale will be with us once more. Conceived originally as part of the fringe programme for Messe Frankfurt’s Light+Building trade fair, Luminale is now a popular and well-established attraction in its own right. In fact, the 2020 edition of Luminale will be its tenth.
As in 2018, the internationally renowned Studio Rekkab will be responsible for the concept, planning, communication and implementation of this year’s Luminale. And we at Publishing Services are delighted to be supporting them in their endeavours.
As well as large-format posters, we are producing programme booklets, called “finders” in Luminale’s case, as well as a folding map with a print run of 50,000 copies to accompany the event. Both finder and the folding maps will be available from all tourist information bureaus, museums and universities as well as numerous other public institutions throughout Frankfurt and Offenbach. You’ll be able to glimpse the large-format posters en passant throughout the conurbation day and night.
Night and day, the Luminale, too, will be unmissable.
Frankfurt and Offenbach are set to shine – as, indeed, are we!
And there was light. Highlights of Luminale 2020
